Live today

Everything between your lessons

Every feature below is already in the app — no waitlist, no upsell. Piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, flute, whistle and treble instruments.

01

Exercises & practice plans

Technique exercises grouped into ordered plans per instrument and level, with tempo targets and a practice log for every run.

02

Songs & interactive scores

Engraved notation that scrolls as you play, with playback, transposition, fingering and chord symbols. Import your own MusicXML, single files or whole folders.

03

Live MIDI input

Connect a keyboard over USB or Bluetooth and the score turns green or red note by note. A built-in synth means you can practise on a silent controller.

04

Microphone pitch feedback

Playing guitar, flute or whistle? Real-time pitch detection listens through your mic or audio interface and marks what you actually played.

05

Curriculum & ear training

A ladder of inner-skill modules across 21 areas — intervals, rhythm, harmony, modes, sight-reading — each unlocked by a quiz that adapts to your level.

06

Memorisation & review

Break a piece into sections and let spaced repetition schedule them. Your review queue tells you exactly what to revisit today.

07

Progress you can see

Practice time, streaks, XP and per-skill readiness, plus proficiency tracking for each instrument you play.

08

Calendar & reminders

Schedule single or recurring lessons and practice blocks, and get a reminder before each one.

09

Community forum

Ask questions, share what you're working on, and discuss any course in its own thread. Small and new — come help set the tone.

Tools that listen back
while you play

Most apps hand you a metronome and a PDF. This one follows along: slow a passage down without dropping the pitch, make it wait until you hit the right note, then ramp the tempo back up as you get it.

  • Pitch-preserving tempo slider with automatic ramp-up
  • Wait-for-the-right-note step mode, driven by MIDI or mic
  • On-screen keyboard, chord charts and fingering diagrams per instrument
  • Fingering and interpretation notes saved onto the score itself

For teachers & schools

Run your studio
in one place

Create courses from your own exercises and sheet music, put your students in an organisation, and see who actually practised this week. You keep 100% of what you earn — we don't take a cut.

  • Courses with ordered exercise plans, scores and a discussion thread
  • Organisations for schools and studios, with member management
  • Analytics: practice activity, progress and engagement per student
  • Scheduled and recurring lessons with automatic reminders

What we're building next

We'd rather show you the roadmap than pretend the product is finished. Here's what's actually in flight.

In testing

Apps on the App Store & Google Play

The iOS, Android and macOS apps are built and running — including MIDI and microphone input — and are going through device testing before store release.

In progress

More ear-training question types

Melodic dictation and chord-progression identification are joining the existing interval, scale, rhythm and tempo drills.

In progress

Adaptive difficulty

Quizzes already scale with your skill level; next they'll target the areas you keep getting wrong instead of asking at random.

Planned

Fully localised curriculum

The interface is already in six languages. Quiz prompts and theory content are next in line.

Planned

More languages

English, Czech, Slovak, German, Spanish and Italian ship today. Tell us in the forum which language you need next.

Planned

More instruments

Eight instruments are covered today. Voice, drums and bowed strings are the next families we want to do properly.

"We're not going to print a fake user count on our own homepage. MusicTrainerPro is new, it's free while in beta, and the people who join now genuinely shape what gets built." — One Music Media, the team behind MusicTrainerPro
